Last week, the Community Action Team (CAT) proudly participated in the nonprofit and community day at the Columbia County Fair. Our enthusiastic team from the Older Adult Services program set up a lively booth, eager to interact with fairgoers and share information about the vital services we offer as the Area Agency on Aging for Columbia, Clatsop, and Tillamook Counties.

Visitors to our booth discovered a wide range of programs designed to support older adults in our community. From healthcare resources to social services, our team was ready to answer questions and hand out informative materials. We even set up hydration stations to help everyone stay cool during the fair. It was a fantastic chance to connect with the community, spread awareness about our mission, and reinforce our commitment to supporting our seniors.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth and showed interest in our programs. Your support and engagement are essential as we continue working towards a community where all older adults can live with dignity and independence. Stay tuned for more updates and upcoming events where you’ll see CAT in action!
