Help with electricity, heating, and water bills

Utility Assistance programs provide a variety of energy/utility bill assistance with electric, natural gas, pellets, wood, propane, oil, and furnace repair/ replacement. When funding is available, we may be able to assist with water.

The Energy Services Program’s mission is to be accessible to persons in need of basic support. To treat all persons with respect, cultural sensitivity, and courtesy when applying for services. To assist households in maintaining affordable, continuous, and safe home energy usage, while lowering their energy burdens.

Who We Serve

Our services are available to households with income levels at or below 60% of Oregon’s State Median Income.

Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)

A federally funded program that supports households with energy costs for electricity, natural gas, oil, pellets, propane, and wood. It also offers assistance with minor furnace repairs or replacements, ensuring homes stay safe and warm during harsh weather.

Oregon Energy Assistance Program (OEAP)

State-funded assistance for Pacific Power customers, focusing on maintaining uninterrupted energy service for those who qualify.

OLGA & GAP Programs

These resources are designed to assist Northwest Natural customers, offering tailored support for natural gas costs.

Medical/Unexpected Events Assistance

For families facing emergencies due to medical needs or other unexpected events, this program helps cover energy bills and even water-related costs, providing a safety net during challenging times.

Self-Help Weatherization Materials

Low-cost and no-cost solutions to improve home energy efficiency.

Furnace Repair & Replacement

For those with non-functional furnaces, we provide assistance through available energy funds, helping maintain safe and comfortable home environments. Availability is limited, so please contact us for details.
