The American Legion – Oregon Headquarters is a community organization for veterans and their families, offering information, referral, mutual support and community programs. Service officers help with VA paperwork and obtaining DD-214s. Provides temporary financial need-based cash grants to minor children of veterans or eligible parents for shelter, utilities, food and medical expenses. No age restriction statewide.
