Oregon Energy Fund is a nonprofit organization that offers one-time energy assistance to low-income Oregonians in crisis situations. They work with a number of community nonprofit organizations and are funded in part by PGE, Pacific Power, and West Oregon Electric Cooperative, Inc.

Oregon Energy Assistance Program (OEAP) provides help to low-income households at risk of having their electricity disconnected due to home heating expenses. OEAP is available statewide and serves all ages from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Oregon Veterans’ Emergency Financial Assistance Program
Oregon Veterans’ Emergency Financial Assistance Program provides emergency financial assistance, including emergency or temporary housing expenses, emergency medical or dental expenses, and emergency transportation. Assistance is available statewide and is granted only once, with average award amounts varying. Call before visiting the office, and all visitors are required to wear masks.

Oregon Department of Energy offers information on reducing energy costs, tax credits for installing home energy efficient devices and how to cope during a power outage, accessible to residents of all ages statewide. Open Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

OneApp Guarantee
OneApp Guarantee is a co-signing/guarantor product for renters who need a co-signer to qualify for housing, and a security blanket for housing providers that reimburses up to 3x the rent amount for rental losses and damages due to a renter default. Available statewide Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Gas Assistance Program (GAP)
Gas Assistance Program (GAP) provides energy assistance grants to NW Natural customers in need, with no age restrictions. It operates from 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM Monday to Friday, serving residents of Benton, Clackamas, Clark, Clatsop, Columbia, Coos, Hood River, Lane, Lincoln, Linn, Marion, Multnomah, Wasco, Washington, and Yamhill.

Emergency Assistance Program – Multiple Sclerosis Foundation – Provides one-time financial assistance for urgent needs related to rent, utilities, or medication for people with Multiple Sclerosis. Service available nationwide on weekdays from 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
